“Our prom venue this year was a huge success and created the perfect atmosphere for the event. Students loved the two-floor layout, spacious dance floor, great music, and the variety of spaces throughout the venue. Having separate areas to dance, relax, and cool off made the night enjoyable for everyone.

The venue had a clean, high-class feel with comfortable seating, great lighting, and fun details like heated bathroom seats. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the mocktails were a big hit. Overall, the venue provided a fun, comfortable, and memorable experience for prom night. “

“First time here nice small venue. If your looking for a awesome place to watch a show this is for you. Seating is awesome and the staff is top notch.

I want to thank everyone at the lakeport opera house for a fantastic summer. We have 2 more shows left this season (for us) and every show has been incredible. You have gone above and beyond for every show. Thank you for keeping the prices incredibly affordable so that we can go to several shows . If you have never been to this venue. Check it out because I guarantee that you will be back. There is always some for everyone . Again thank you for an amazing summer and see you then weekend of August 23rd.“

“Had a wonderful experience at an afternoon band performance on August 24th. The staff was very helpful with all aspects of our first visit there. Our group was very impressed with how beautiful and well laid out the entire venue is, including the wonderfully spacious and clean bathrooms. The acoustics were top-notch. The venue seats about 180-200. Five stars!“

“Upscale Romantic Elegance for our Wedding at Lakeport Opera House
We wanted an upscale, romantic and elegant experience for our wedding and we found it at Lakeport Opera House. Our vision was brought to life by the team and it was a dream to see it all come to life on our wedding day. Every detail was perfectly executed. From the performance stage lighting, to the reveal of the venue with Waterford champagne flutes in hand as our guests entered the theater, to our perfectly spotlighted entrance from the balcony, to our crafted signature cocktails and our flawlessly placed decor and table settings … we could not have asked for a more perfect experience. The Opera House team reconfigured the layout with 4-person rounds and scattered high tops with a centered dance floor in front of the stage. The red velvet chairs were stunning for our 40-person event. (The space can accommodate a much larger event.) The staff audio and lighting team were perfectly on point with the ambiance we wanted and worked beautifully with our jazz band. We brought in James Beard nominee, Top Chef season 18 competitor and owner of Greenleaf and Pavillion, Chris Viaud to cater an exquisite set of food stations throughout the Opera House. Don’t let the lack of a full kitchen deter you from choosing the Opera House. The right caterer can make your dreams a reality. Emily Viaud, Chris’ talented pastry chef and wife provided an amazing display of desserts, including our gluten free wedding cake. When we imagined our perfect reception, we didn’t think it could be done. But it was at the Lakeport Opera House and the memory of that night will last a lifetime. “
